Upon successful completion of the manufacturing Technology program, the student should be
able to:
- Apply basic industrial safety concepts including basic electrical and fire safety, PPE
(personal protective equipment) and hazardous communication requirements. - Demonstrate efficiency in computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) and other computerized

- Identify and resolve production problems in the manufacture of products.
The Manufacturing Technology curriculum is designed to prepare students through the study and application of the principles for developing, 实施和完善综合人事制度, materials, equipment and information as leaders in an industrial or manufacturing setting. 有效地培训制造技术专业人员, the performance of certain functions is incorporated throughout the program. Faculty and students are required to demonstrate proficiency of these functions in the Manufacturing Technology program. 基本功能包括:

- Problem Sensitivity: The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem. Example is to be able to determine is a problem is present in an operation of a machine.
